They went to impose a fine of 5 million euros, a gun was fired at a Vlora hotel! The perpetrators were injured while fleeing

A serious incident is reported to have occurred at noon this Thursday in one of the hotels in Vlora, in the Orikum area, where a group of more than 10 people opened fire on the premises of this entity.

The incident occurred at around 12:30, while according to preliminary information, it is learned that the people initially threatened the hotel owner and then the situation escalated, ending with the use of firearms. The perpetrators are suspected of wanting to impose a fine of 5 million euros on the owner, while after the conflict they opened fire towards the hotel premises.

Immediately after the shooting was reported, police arrived at the scene and began searching for the people suspected of being involved in the incident.

During the departure, the vehicle in which two of the suspects were traveling lost control on the Peshkëpi bridge, at the entrance to the city of Vlora, causing an accident and ending up overturning. As a result of the accident, the two people in the vehicle were injured and were transported by ambulance to the hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance.

According to preliminary information, one of the injured suffered multiple injuries to his back and spine, while the other person received injuries as a result of the accident.

Meanwhile, following the incident, numerous police forces have been deployed in several areas of the city of Vlora, conducting checks and following the tracks of persons suspected of involvement in the conflict. So far, the police have escorted about 10 people in connection with the incident, while checks continue to identify and capture all persons who may have participated in the attack.
