This GoFundMe is managed by Luiz's mother (Angelina) and his sister (Ina). We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support," the description reads.

This made a big fuss on the net with many hints from people, as usually 'GoFundMe' are opened when a person has a need, whether for illness or even for charity.

An explanation has been made on Luiz's official account on Instagram, showing why they did such a thing.

"Clarification. GoFundMe is an American platform, and it is the most transparent fundraising platform for any need, fulfillment of dreams or other life events. That's why the family chose this official platform of support for Luiz's fans who have expressed this wish", he wrote in the statement posted on InstaStory.
