Serious in Texas, famous actor found murdered in front of his house

A serious event has shocked the world of American television and fans of the popular animated series King of the Hill.

Actor Jonathan Josh, 59, was found shot to death in San Antonio, Texas. According to reports from local police, he was found seriously injured near a road and despite attempts to save him, he died at the scene. The incident occurred in the afternoon and within a few hours the main suspect, Alvarez Seham, 56, a neighbor of the actor, was arrested, who is suspected of having fled the scene in a hurry.

He is currently in custody, charged with premeditated murder, while investigations continue to uncover the motives of this tragedy. The actor's death occurred just days before the long-awaited return of the series King of the Hill on the Hulu platform. Josh was expected to return to the role of John Redcorn, a character he had replaced since the third season after the death of the original actor, Victor Aron, in 1996. According to sources close to the production, Josh had completed part of the filming and was very excited to return to this project.

Just hours before the event, the actor had shared a video on Instagram expressing his excitement about joining the series and was in Austin, Texas, for promotional meetings. A week earlier, he had attended the ATX TV Festival, where he appeared on a panel with actors Pamela Adlon, Lauren Tom and writer Saladin K. Patterson, discussing the revival of the series, which is expected to premiere in August. In addition to his role in King of the Hill, Jonathan Josh had built a successful career in film and television, with prominent roles in the series Parks and Recreation (where he played Chief Ken Hotate), Tulsa King, Ray Donovan, as well as the films True Grit and The Magnificent Seven.
