Kosovo customs police temporarily seize rapper Mozzik's two watches worth over 1 million euros for not declaring them at the border

Kosovo Customs has announced that at the "Adem Jashari" International Airport in Pristina, it has temporarily seized two luxury watches, a Richard Mille and a Rolex worth over 1.3 million euros, from a person who had not declared them during transit.
In the official announcement, Kosovo Customs did not identify the person in question, but according to media in Kosovo, it is rapper Mozzik, who has previously confirmed that he was escorted by customs police regarding the origin of his watches.
The case was sent to the Basic Prosecution Office of Pristina, as the evasion of customs obligations exceeded the amount of 5 thousand euros.
It is also learned that Mozzik was questioned on September 17 and released in a regular procedure, while the watches remain confiscated until the Prosecution's decision.
Full response from Kosovo Customs
Kosovo Customs informs the public that following the publication of news on portals and social networks, it has taken all necessary measures to identify and control a suspect upon entry into the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
As a result of this control at the “Adem Jashari” International Airport in Pristina, customs units have discovered and temporarily detained two luxury watches (a Richard Mille and a Rolex), which were not declared by the traveler during the passage through the Green Channel. The total value of these watches is €1,340,027.50 (one million three hundred forty thousand twenty-seven euros and fifty cents).
Since the evasion of customs obligations amounted to over 5,000 euros, in accordance with the legislation in force, the Custodian Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina was notified. In this case, in accordance with the powers arising from the Customs and Excise Code, the temporary detention of the goods and the interview of the suspect were ordered.
On September 17, 2025, the suspect was interviewed and then released in a regular procedure, while the two hours remain detained until a further decision by the Prosecution.
Kosovo Customs remains committed to respecting the law and implementing its duties to prevent evasion of customs obligations, smuggling and unjustified wealth.
Media in Kosovo have reported that Mozzik was arrested by customs police at Pristina Airport for his Richard Mille wristwatch, which is worth over 1 million euros, and that he had a debt to pay to the Kosovo Tax Administration.
Mozzik has denied all claims of arrest and debt, calling them slander and false information.
He explains that there were no arrests and that everything was just a procedure for giving a statement for the investigations regarding the wristwatch.
"I just gave a statement, in the presence of my lawyer Arian Koci, regarding last night's case regarding the Richard Mille watch.
"The media that reported on an arrest that did not happen did not act correctly. Also, the reports about an alleged debt to ATK are untrue - just lies and slander," he wrote in a post on social media.

The media that reported on an arrest that did not happen did not act correctly. Likewise, the reports about an alleged debt to ATK are untrue – just lies and slander.
I deal with such attacks calmly, just like the flu – and they don't carry any more weight.
I wish you all success, and may you sleep peacefully tonight. I love you even those who write badly! Sincerely, Gramoz Aliu (Mozzik).
