'What's your real hair like?'/ Cardi B confuses lawyer with hair color during trial

Cardi B's wig swap left a lawyer questioning her during a civil assault trial confused about her "real hair."
On Tuesday, August 26, the rapper (whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar) testified after being sued in 2020 by a security guard who claims Cardi attacked him outside a Beverly Hills medical clinic in 2018, according to Rolling Stone. Cardi denied that a physical altercation occurred, but admitted to having a “verbal altercation” after feeling cornered.
As she was giving her testimony the lawyer began to question her hair, changing from a black wig the day before to a long blonde wig.
It all started when the lawyer asked the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker if she had "black hair, blonde hair or another hair color" on the date of the alleged incident.
Cardi told the lawyer she was wearing a hoodie. Then he pushed her further.
"Yesterday you had black, short hair. Today it's blonde and long. What's your real hair? Or are they both real? " he asked.
The "I Like It" rapper laughed before replying, "They're wigs."
"Okay. Sorry, I didn't know. Then, it's a good wig today," the lawyer replied.
In the lawsuit filed in 2020, security guard Emani Ellis alleged that Cardi physically attacked her, cut her face with her nails, and spat on her during a visit to her obstetrician's office, according to Rolling Stone.
According to the media, Cardi, who at the time was pregnant with her first child with Migos rapper Offset, claimed that Ellis, who worked in the office, started "going crazy" and seemed to be following and filming her.
