Critical situation with increasing crime in Shkodra, Minister Demo and Skënder Hita meet with structures

The Minister of Interior, Ervin Demo, held a meeting today at the Shkodra Local Police Directorate.

As can be seen from the footage, Demo was in the company of Police Chief Skënder Hita, in a meeting with the Shkodra Police structures. The meetings take place at a time when the criminal situation in the region, especially the problems related to the cultivation and trafficking of narcotics, is in the attention of the institutions.

Sources say that the visit of senior leaders to Shkodra may be followed by changes in the leadership of local structures. The performance of the current leaders and the way in which the identified problems are being dealt with are expected to be part of the evaluation.

Next, Minister Demo is expected to hold a meeting with the Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, where issues related to order and security in the city and region will be discussed.
