Atletico Madrid, coach Simeone: PSG beat us deservedly, now focus on the next match

Atletico coach Diego Simeone is not looking for excuses after the heavy defeat against PSG in their Club World Cup debut.

"They were better, they beat us in the game and in the details. In such a short tournament, there is no time to think too much: you have to move on immediately to the next opponent," Cholo said in a press conference on the eve of the match against Seattle Sounders.

Atlético have two games left to get back on track and Simeone knows this:

"The competition still gives us opportunities, but we have to show who we are, right away. Seattle is a competitive and offensive team, they know what they want. They played a good game against Botafogo and could have equalized," he said.
