Elseid Hysaj, the highest paid Albanian in Serie A, leaves behind Gjimshiti and Asllan

Calcio and Finanza, the specialized magazine for the economy in Italy, has made a ranking regarding the salaries of the footballers and the amount that the clubs spend in total on the players they have under contract.
The highest paid in Serie A is Dusan Vlahovic, the striker that Juventus pays 12 million euros per season. In total, Serie A clubs pay more than 1 billion euros (including taxes) for footballers' salaries.
As far as Albanian footballers are concerned, Elseid Hysaj of Lazio is the highest paid. According to the data published by the specialized site 'Calcio e Finanza', the 30-year-old defender receives 2 million euros per season from Lazio. Even though he was left off the list, the club is obliged to pay him.
After Hysaj are Berat Gjimshiti of Atalanta and Kristjan Asllani of Inter with an annual salary of 800 thousand net euros each. Ardian Ismajli receives 700,000 euros from Empoli, while Ylber Ramadani is paid 450,000 from Leçe.
Newcomer Alen Sherri has signed for 150,000 euros a year at Cagliari, while the least paid is midfielder Medon Berisha. He receives 120 thousand euros from Lece.
