The legend of Rome and one of the former footballers who made an era in Serie A, Francesco Totti is thinking about returning to the field at the age of 48. It's not about any friendly match or low-level tournament, but Serie A none the less.

In an event held yesterday (Monday) in Rome, Totti talked about the offers and the possibility of a sensational return.

"A return to the pitch for me? In life, never say never. There have already been players in the past who have returned to play after a few years. To play in Serie A I have to train very well. Some Serie A teams have come close recently. About a month ago, I was a little crazy. I said to myself 'why are they asking me after so many years?', said Totti, leaving everything open.

The 48-year-old last played in 2017, when he made his 786th and final appearance for boyhood club AS Roma, and is open to the idea of ​​playing in Serie A again.
