Egnatia footballers shocked by the loss of their friend, Raphael Dwamena

From the Kavaja hospital, Egnatia football players with tears in their eyes escort Raphael Dwamena, the 28-year-old football player who passed away today.
Shocked by the event, some of them are seen with their hands on their heads and their eyes on the ambulance.
Egnatia's top scorer, the young Ghanaian fell on the field in the 25th minute of the match against Partizan. Due to his condition, he was taken to the hospital, but the attacker could not survive the heart attack.
In February of this year, he told TCH that he had discovered the problem with his heart in 2017 while he was signing the transfer contract from Switzerland to the English league.
" I was shocked, I was playing at Zyrih at that time and I had all the doctors there. I was forced to go back to my house and have some medical tests. At first they put me on a device that monitored the heart rate, it's a signal that hits you and shows the state of the heart, that was the worst thing that happened to me, but I never fell on the field or lost consciousness. Then they asked me if I was in a good condition to play and I said yes", said Dwamena.
Superiore clubs and the Albanian Football Federation have expressed their condolences for the sad event, while the weekend matches for the Albanian football championships have been postponed.
"FSHF expresses its deepest condolences to the Dëamena family and the Egnatia club for this great loss and event that has shocked the entire Albanian football community. The Football Federation informs that all matches scheduled for this weekend in all football championships in Albania will be postponed to a second moment", writes the FFF in its statement.
