Real Madrid have not been happy with the referees in recent weeks, but their reaction has also caused a backlash in the rest of Spanish football.

It was after the defeat to Espanyol that Real Madrid decided to issue a public statement.
La Liga was not happy with Real Madrid's actions and recently confirmed that an official complaint had been made regarding the matter.
Earlier this week it was clarified that the club led by Florentino Perez will face disciplinary proceedings, and according to reports from "Mundo Deportivo", the process has already begun.
The Disciplinary Committee has opened the case and an investigator will be appointed to determine whether Real Madrid should be punished for its reaction.
La Liga has requested that the club be the main target of the punishment, and not any member of the board of directors.
There is no clear deadline for this investigation yet, but the idea is for the assigned investigator to complete the work within about a month.
For their part, Real Madrid believes they have done nothing wrong and defends the same stance regarding controversial refereeing videos broadcast on Real Madrid TV, which have caused outrage among other clubs in recent years.
