"Messi is the best in history" - Lamin Jamal: Betraying Barcelona? Impossible, especially for Real Madrid

In a week in which football has taken a back seat and in Spain the main debate is taking place around referees, one of the best players in La Liga, Lamin Jamal, has given an interview to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", where he has spoken, among other things, about the controversy surrounding referees.
Real Madrid, Barcelona itself, Atletico Madrid and other clubs in La Liga have expressed their dissatisfaction with the referees, who in response have threatened to boycott them if the accusations against them do not stop.
"The job of a referee is very difficult, in the end if you whistle one side, the other will complain. And if no one complains, another team that is not playing will complain. It is a very difficult job, because someone will always complain, they try to do the best they can," Jamal declared.
His interview came just hours after Barcelona's controversial win over Rayo Vallecano, which saw what would have been an equaliser disallowed, and Lamin was adamant about the decisions of the referee on the pitch and the VAR system.
"The penalty against Injigo was very clear. But the debate has started that what's been happening recently is that almost everything is being questioned," he said.
Meanwhile, the Barça star has been clear in his message to the club he plays for and to other Spanish giants regarding complaints against referees.
"I think clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico cannot protest about referees. It is not in the stature and greatness of these clubs to deal with referees," he added.
In his interview, Jamal also spoke about the possible renewal expected in July, after he turns 18. He was also asked if he would consider a transfer to Real Madrid if he had an offer.
"What if Real Madrid made me an offer? Impossible, I would never go there. I feel comfortable here, which is the most important thing. Talking about stars or not stars, in the end it's about playing, showing what you are. It's not necessary to feel like a star, superior or inferior. It's not necessary. The important thing is to feel comfortable, to play for the team and to be helped by your teammates. That's enough.
"As for the renewal, I'm calm and you have to wait until July to find out. I don't want to think about this meeting. The focus is on the sporting objectives. We have the League, the Champions League and the King's Cup. We are fully in the race for all three trophies and we will do everything to go all the way."

"Luckily I'm not the first one to do that. That means it's something that people have inside whenever they see a left-handed player as a winger or sometimes just when someone is left-handed. I try to be myself. Of course, Messi, and I always say this, is the best player in history, I give everything for this shirt."
In his interview on the occasion of his 100th professional match between Barça and the Spanish national team, Jamal also spoke about many other topics. He teased about the strikers that intrigue him the most, where he did not leave out mentioning his idol Neymar.
"Musiala, Neymar and Savino are three strikers who inspire me the most and I would like to play with them," declared the 17-year-old Spaniard.
