From Germany to Albania, Weiper: They contacted me, the Rossoneri are a good opportunity

Nelson Weiper could one day wear the Albanian jersey. The 20-year-old striker, who plays for Mainz, has spoken about the possibility of playing for the Rossoneri in a recent interview with Kicker.

"I have been contacted by Albania and they already want me for the senior national team. It is truly a source of pride when a country's senior team wants you. I want to show my talent in the German U-21 team and play for Germany for as long as possible. If things don't work out for Germany at some point, I see Albania as a very good opportunity," Weiper said.

We recall that he currently plays for Germany U21. Kicker points out that the boy's mother is from Albania and Weiper could play for Albania one day.
