Allegations of betrayal, Messi's girlfriend and Antonela Roccuzzo breaks the silence

Cesc Fabregas' wife Daniella Semaan has strongly denied a report in Brazil that Lionel Messi allegedly cheated on Antonela Roccuzzo.
Brazilian newspaper Direto Do Miolo reported in X on Friday that Messi and Roccuzzo's 15-year relationship is facing its 'biggest crisis' yet.

They claimed that the Inter Miami star had an affair with Argentinian journalist Sofia Martinez and his marriage was on the verge of ending, DailyMail writes.

However, the tweet cited sources in Spain, which do not appear to exist. Furthermore Semaan, who regularly holidays with Messi and Roccuzzo and is particularly close to the pair, insists the speculation is incorrect.
Responding to a post on Instagram, she said: "What kind of post is this that makes no sense.. and has nothing real in it." Messi and Roccuzzo have known each other since they were five years old. They got married in 2017 and have three sons: Thiago, Mateo and Ciro.

Reports in his native Argentina emerged last month suggesting Messi is 'in love with a woman who is not Antonela'.

Afterwards, some fans speculated that the woman in question was Martinez, due to an apparent 'look' he gave her during an interview at the Ballon d'Or ceremony.

Martinez also made a splash during last year's World Cup in Qatar, which Messi and Argentina went on to win.

After their semi-final victory over Croatia, Martinez gave an impassioned speech while interviewing Messi.

In it, she told him how grateful the Argentinians were to have him representing them and it didn't matter if he won the match or not.

Live on air, she said: “The last thing I want to tell you and it's not a question, but I just wanted to say; the final of the World Cup is coming and of course, all of us [Argentinians] want to win the Cup".

"I just want to tell you that regardless of the results, there is something that no one can take away from you and that is the fact that you resonated with Argentinians, every single one of them," she said.

"There is no child who does not have the jersey of your team. It doesn't matter if it's fake, real or made up. Truly, you have left a mark on everyone's life and this for me is beyond winning any World Cup", the journalist said, among other things.
