PSG wins Intercontinental Cup, defeats Flamengo amid trepidation

PSG are the winners of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, having defeated Flamengo in the final. Regular time ended 1-1, there was no goal in extra time, and a penalty shootout was needed to determine the winner.
