Fantastic season in Italy, Stiven Shpendi could return to Serie A!

Stiven Shpendi could soon return to Serie A, after an impressive season in the second category of Italian football. The Albanian striker has ended up on the radar of Cagliari, who are planning changes in the offensive department.

The 23-year-old excelled in Serie B last season, scoring 15 goals and providing two assists. His performance was crucial for Empoli, who managed to avoid relegation.

Shpendi has a contract with his club until 2029, while it remains to be seen what offer Cagliari will present to secure the services of the Albanian striker.

Despite his good form, Shpendi has yet to receive a call-up from the Albanian national team. A return to the Italian football elite could be a golden opportunity to attract the attention of coach Sylvinho and secure his first call-up with the Rossoneri.
