Uzuni in the "Top10" in MLS, record transfer for Austin

12.5 million euros, that's how much Myrto Uzun's transfer cost the Austin team, with the red-and-black "bomber" immediately setting a record for the MLS club as the most expensive transfer in history. With this figure, Uzun is part of the "Top10", as one of the 10 most expensive purchases in the history of the US championship. Uzun signed a contract until 2027, with an option to renew for another year, until 2028.
The red and black striker will wear the number 10 jersey. Through a video message to the fans, Uzuni emphasized that he has come to the USA, to the Austin team, to write history, to set records:
"This team fulfills my ambition to always be successful, a club with a winning mentality. I can tell the Austin fans that I will do everything to score goals, to help the team achieve its objectives. I am coming here to break records," said Uzuni.
Before his move to Austin was made official, Uzuni also addressed the fans of Granada, the team where his name went in golden letters, where in three years he became the best foreign scorer in the club's history.
