Tragedy in Spanish football/ Tenerife striker dies, suffered heart attack after clashing with opponent on the field

Spanish football is in mourning. Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel passed away this Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack following a violent clash with opposing goalkeeper Jesus Owono in the match against Andorra.
The Madrid footballer had to be urgently taken to the hospital where he stayed in the intensive care unit where he fought for his life but did not succeed. The Tenerife club itself announced the bitter news of the Spanish striker's death through a statement on social media.
'Devastated by pain, with a lump in our throat and unable to believe that this is true, CD Tenerife this Tuesday, November 3 at 08:00 announces the tragic death of Jesus de Miguel Alameda' - the Spanish club's post read - ' There are no words that can comfort, there is nothing that can ease this feeling filled with sadness. We all stand together with his family and loved ones and the entire Tenerife football community who are saddened by this cruel end. The family of Jesus de Miguel thanks everyone for the support shown and at the same time requests maximum respect for its privacy in these terrible moments'.
The fatal moment occurred in the extra minutes of the second half. De Miguel was chasing a high ball beyond the middle of the field when Owono, as the last player in Andorra's defense, rushed to catch the ball and collided very hard with the attacker. De Miguel fell to the field and lost consciousness and immediately players from both teams requested the presence of doctors who gave him their assistance for a few minutes, then left the field, while referee Perez Hernandez decided to suspend the match. The Tenerife striker was rushed to hospital and died a day later.
