The 'trailer' for the third and final season of "Squid Game" is released, the footage predicts a dramatic ending

The third and final season of Netflix's most-watched series in history, "Squid Game," is fast approaching. A new trailer, released recently, shows what is expected to be the dramatic climax of this global phenomenon.
The series still remains the most-watched production on the platform and has continued to break records even with the return of the second season in December 2024. Within the first week of release alone, the second season broke the record for most views in the premiere week and within three days, it entered the list of the most-watched series on Netflix (in the non-English language series category), ranking second with 192.6 million views — right behind the first season, which has 265.2 million.
Season 3 will pick up where season 2 left off, with a shocking ending. Gi-hun (Player 456) returns to the heart of the games, now with one clear goal: to destroy them forever. Haunted by memories of the betrayal and loss of his closest friend, Jung-bae (Player 390), he faces new dangers – including the return of Front Man, who had infiltrated the uprising disguised as Player 001.
The newly released trailer opens with a shot of pink-clad guards carrying a black box — the same one used for the bodies of fallen players. They bring the box to the game’s resting area, as players, scared and curious, approach and open it. Inside is Gi-hun. He wakes up, and the footage immediately transports us to the start of a new game.
A giant gumball machine begins to release red and blue balls – symbolic of the fate that will determine the next challenge. Familiar names return: Front Man, detective Hwang Jun-ho, as well as players Myung-gi (Player 333), Dae-ho (388), Hyun-ju (120), Yong-sik (007), Geum-ja (149), Jun-hee (222), Min-su (125), Nam-gyu (124) and pink guard No-eul.
As the tension builds, the end of the trailer closes with a mysterious sound - the cries of a baby, leaving behind a heavy atmosphere full of questions.
The third season of “Squid Game” promises to bring an intense and exciting conclusion to one of the most talked-about series of the decade. Fans around the world are already waiting to see what will happen in this final game.
