Trump launches poll, proposes changing the name of Artificial Intelligence

US President Donald Trump has called on his followers to vote in a poll on the X platform, as he believes the term "artificial intelligence" is not accurate enough and has proposed new names for AI.

In his post, Trump said that many people consider the term "artificial intelligence" inaccurate and not elegant enough compared to the abbreviation AI.

According to him, more elegant and accurate descriptions would be “Superior Intelligence”, “Extreme Intelligence” or “Supreme Intelligence”.

"A much more elegant and accurate description of this new phenomenon would be 'superior intelligence' (SI), 'extreme intelligence' (EI) or 'supreme intelligence' (SI). This is a poll and I would appreciate it if everyone would vote! What is the best name for this ever-expanding 'revolution'?" Trump wrote.

Last week, Trump opposed slowing down the development of artificial intelligence, after executives from some of the largest technology companies had agreed to such an approach due to security risks.

Trump has linked his opposition to the desire for the United States to maintain a lead over China in the development of artificial intelligence.
