Vlora Airport, Behgjet Pacolli: Unfounded court decisions hinder works

Businessman Behgjet Pacolli spoke on the "Opinion" show regarding Vlora airport, which is under investigation by SPAK.
Although the works should have been completed on February 28, the airport is still not ready because the works have not continued normally due to legal procedures and disputes between the partners in this project.
Pacolli describes the court's decision to stop work on the airport as unfounded and, according to him, everything came about because they accused him of selling the Vlora airport to a Russian company.
Behgjet Pacolli emphasizes that as long as court decisions continue to hinder the works, the airport will not be ready this summer or in the near future.

Pacolli : I was not involved in signing the contracts. I did not sign. I was an informed person. I had a great desire for the Vlora Airport project. I wanted to do something beautiful in Vlora. I have never experienced this experience before. Such a project was treated without any respect, without any desire for the project to succeed . There are norms that determine everyone's obligations. I am not aware of the SPAK accusation. It is impossible for my company to receive a tender with deficiencies. I have built several airports around the world. Whoever hid the documents will find them where they are. We have it in the documentation. The documents have been sent, the balance sheets, the references and the tender conditions have been sent. It is impossible for us to come here and compete with our hands in our pockets. The documents are not missing. We have a copy of the documentation. MAPKO has guaranteed the initial capital of 5 million euros. We have paid the contractor's invoices. The loan is guaranteed by MAPKO.

Pacolli : The airport is not working because the infrastructure is not ready. Since August 30. MAPKO has no control over 98%, we have been stripped of any kind of decision-making by court decision.
