The United States Embassy in our country issued an important announcement this Sunday evening, calling on all American citizens to exercise caution.
Through a post on social media, the Embassy has retweeted the call of the US Department of State, who have appealed to Americans around the world to carefully follow safety guidelines, at a time when the war in the Middle East is escalating and Iran has vowed revenge.
"Americans abroad should follow the instructions in the security notices issued by the nearest United States embassy or consulate ," the embassy said in a statement, which also warned of periodic airspace closures, leading to travel disruptions.
Furthermore, the embassy emphasizes that American diplomatic facilities, including those outside the Middle East, have been targeted by Iran.
