Snow covers the Southeast, some areas without electricity

The Prefecture of Korça District announces that the situation appears stable, despite rain and snowfall during the night. Snowfall has been recorded in mountainous areas, where work is underway to clean and salt the roads, while traffic continues normally on all main axes.
Due to technical defects, several villages have been left without electricity. Specifically, 176 subscribers in the Bezhan, Butkë and Pepelash areas, as well as 12 subscribers in the Gurore areas and at the television antennas are without power. Teams are on the ground to repair the defects.
Meanwhile, the fire service of the Maliq Municipality has intervened to extinguish a fire in a house in the village of Zvezda, while emergency structures remain on standby.
Situation in Korça Region: snowfall in mountainous areas, some villages without electricity
The Prefecture of Korça District informs that, based on reports from responsible structures, the situation in the territory of the district appears stable, despite rain and snow during the night and early morning hours.
There has been snowfall in the Boboshticë-Dardhe and Lapidar Podgorie-Podgorie-Liqenas segments, while work is underway to clean and salt the roads with two snowplows.
On the Korça-Ersekë axis (K.3), light rainfall was recorded, without any traffic problems.
Low-intensity snowfalls were also recorded on the Bilisht–Miras and Zemblak–Doganë Gorice axes, but without the formation of a layer, while traffic continues normally. There is also light rainfall in the segments of Contract No. 2, without impacting the movement of vehicles.
In Lot 7, on the Libonik-Rëmbec-Plasë and Korçë-Voskopojë axes, there was rainfall during the night, while from 06:00 there was snowfall at kilometers 9-18, without obstacles to traffic.
Regarding the electricity supply, Feeder 4 of N/St Mollas is disconnected due to a defect, leaving 176 rural subscribers in the Bezhan, Butkë and Pepelash areas without power. Likewise, the Cervenakë Feeder of N/St Gur i Kuq is out of operation due to a defect, with 12 private subscribers without power in the Gurore areas and at the television antennas. Teams are on standby to repair the defects, while all feeders supplying consumers of special importance are functional. The Pogradec hydroelectric power plant continues to operate normally.
Meanwhile, the Maliq Municipality Fire Department has intervened to extinguish a fire in a house in the village of Zvezda, Pojan Administrative Unit. A fire engine has been sent to the scene, while forces from the Pustec and Pogradec Fire Departments are also on standby.
