Details from the injury of the policeman in Kuçova, the perpetrator tried to flee

New details have emerged from the injury of the officer in Kuçovë, where Zamir Skënderi, 45 years old, with previous criminal records, was escorted by the Fier DVP services, after earlier in the day he had a conflict in the premises of the Fier Judicial District Prosecutor's Office.
After the escort, at the request of the Fier Police Department, the Kuçovë Police Commissariat sent a patrol to transport him.
The three officers were returning with the escorted citizen towards Fier, when on the Fier-Dimal national axis, at the exit of the village of Kutalli, the situation got out of control.
Skënder, who was sitting in the back seat of the police vehicle, next to Officer Arsen Toska, 20 years old, is suspected of having taken the latter's service weapon and shot him, wounding him in the thigh.
Immediately after the shooting, Zamir Skënderi attempted to flee, but was neutralized and arrested by the other two officers in the vehicle.
The injured policeman was initially transported to the Berat Regional Hospital, where he received first medical aid and was then sent for specialized treatment to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
