Selena Gomez is saying goodbye to her luxurious Encino, California mansion. Just six months after marrying music producer Benny Blanco, the singer has put the mansion up for sale for $6.49 million.
Selena bought the property in 2020 for $4.89 million, a few years before she started dating Benny Blanco. But after the couple bought a much larger mansion in Beverly Hills for a whopping $35 million, it seems the artist no longer needs the Encino home.
The villa spans nearly 11,500 square feet and includes six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The property also has a special history, as it previously belonged to music legend Tom Petty, who built the house in 1989 and lived there until 2017.
Before Selena bought it, the mansion underwent a complete renovation and is now described as a "private compound for the stars." Inside, there are luxurious facilities such as a gym, massage room, private cinema, wine cellar, music studio and even a "vocal booth," believed to have been part of Tom Petty's original studio.
The kitchen is considered one of the highlights of the house, with marble countertops, a central island, and a classic, elegant style. Meanwhile, outside the villa is a giant swimming pool, spa, bar, cabana, and a decorative waterfall that flows into the pool.
Although the house has been emptied of Selena's personal belongings, details of her style are still visible in some rooms. In fact, in photos published by the real estate agency, a video of the artist performing is shown on the private cinema screen.
Meanwhile, Selena and Benny Blanco are enjoying life in their new Beverly Hills mansion, which they purchased in late 2024, around the same time they announced their engagement. The luxurious property includes seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and two separate guest houses.
