A serious incident was recorded at the premises of the National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection (IKMT), where the Director of Decision Execution, Fatmir Meta, was raped.
According to sources, Meta was attacked by Klesti Çela, the director of the Environment and brother-in-law of Ergys Agas, along with three other people. According to journalist Klodiana Lala, the incident is suspected to have come after a verbal clash that occurred the day before between the parties.
Sources within the institution indicate that the conflict is related to an inspection group on the land issue. After the initial debate, the situation deteriorated into physical violence with pistol barrels within the institution's premises a day later.
It is reported that Meta was hit by Çela and other people accompanying him, while the full circumstances of the incident still remain to be clarified.
After the incident, Çela is reported to have gone to the Afrim Center office, where he requested his resignation.
Up to now, there has been no official reaction from IKMT or the parties involved, while the case is expected to be investigated by the competent authorities.
