The High Inspectorate of Justice (ILD) has requested the dismissal of Shkodra judge Arta Llazari, for possible violation of her duties.
The High Judicial Council (HJC) has partially accepted this request and has decided that Lazar be suspended from duty for a period of six months.
Lazar's abuses of properties in the city of Shkodra were previously denounced by the show "Vetting" on News24.
The decision of the Supreme Court of Justice is a step in the process of monitoring and ensuring the integrity of the judicial system in Albania.
Following this decision, procedures will continue to further examine the case of Judge Llazari and her impact on the judicial system.
