NAME/ Action ordered by SPAK in Vlora, the chief of the scientific police sector of Kukes is arrested

Following the action carried out by special forces on the orders of the Special Prosecution Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), State Police employee Rezart Kuçi has been arrested.

According to journalist Klodiana Lala, the arrest warrant was executed by the Police Supervision Agency (AMP), while the officer faces serious charges such as abuse of office, involvement in drug trafficking, and participation in a structured criminal group.

Lala reports that Rezart Kuçi currently holds the position of section chief/expert in the Scientific Police Section at the Kukes Local Police Directorate.

Previously, he has also held other leadership positions in the State Police, where he served as Deputy Chief of Police and simultaneously Chief of Crime Investigation at Police Station No. 1 in Tirana.

Kuçi has also been Deputy Chief of Police/Chief of Crime Investigation at the Vlora Local Police Directorate.
