NAME/ She was walking with her 10-year-old granddaughter, this is the Albanian

The identity of the Albanian, who lost her life in the tragic accident registered on Wednesday evening in Fano, in the province of Pesaro in Italy, has been revealed.

Italian media reports that the victim is 56-year-old Kozeta Caushaj, who was walking with her 10-year-old granddaughter at the time of the accident.

Kozeta Caushaj was hit by a "Smart" type vehicle driven by a 35-year-old woman who lived not far from the accident site. The incident happened on Via VI Strada in Bellocchi, around 11.15pm on Wednesday.

The Albanian woman was walking on the right side of the lane, together with her granddaughter, before the collision. The 35-year-old driving the "Smart" seems to have failed to stop the vehicle in time, hitting the 56-year-old. The collision was so strong that the Albanian died immediately.

The 35-year-old woman stopped the vehicle to help the Albanian woman and called the medical emergency, but it turned out to be useless. The 10-year-old girl was visited by health workers after she was in a state of shock after seeing the tragedy with her grandmother.

The driver immediately stopped and called the emergency services. The "Smart" car was seized and the driver, who tested negative for alcohol, will be charged with vehicular homicide.

" She was a beautiful woman, both outside and inside. Truly an excellent person in everything and above all very much in love with her granddaughter. She was a friend of ours. Before Covid we saw each other a lot more often, then all our lives took different paths. She was a very private woman, like all her family. A hard worker. We met in 2015, thanks to her son Andi, who was very young and did not work. We worked together with a European employment project for foreigners from the Fano employment center. Then I also accompanied them on the journey of social inclusion and they received Italian citizenship. They were very happy about it.

Coseta was very kind, reserved, but she carried this granddaughter in her heart, everywhere. The last time we saw each other he showed me a picture of this little girl dressed as a princess. She was very happy to receive it. that dress But it was a few years ago that we were supposed to meet on March 8, to celebrate women's day together, but in the end she had to leave to be with the little girl, but she had little time She was a double worker , so that the family did not lack anything, even in difficult times, she managed by herself. We are all terribly saddened by this tragedy that has befallen them, they certainly did not deserve such a bad fate ." - says Klarita Grazhdani, the friend of the victim Kozeta Caushaj.
