The Criminal Court sends the file against the structured criminal group led by Laert Haxhiu for trial.

This is about the structural criminal group, composed of  Laert Haxhiu, Kristi Bixheku and Artan (Marjus) Tafani.

The GJKKO decided to send for trial the criminal proceedings against the
defendants:

point 4, 333/a paragraph 1, and 334 of the Criminal Code; “Premeditated murder”, committed
for interest, in the special form of cooperation “Structured criminal group” and
“Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured
criminal group”, in relation to the event that occurred on 01.06.2021, at 21:15, in
Tepelena, to the detriment of the victim Ç.S, provided for by articles 78 paragraph

armed robbery of the vehicle owned by citizen MZ, occurred on 22.02.2023,

2. Kristi Bixheku, father M. and mother E., date of birth ****, born and residing in
****, with education ****, with civil status ****, with judicial status ****, with
Albanian nationality and citizenship.
Accused of committing the following criminal offenses: “Destruction of property with explosives”, in
a special form of collaboration, “Structured criminal group”, “Commitment of
criminal offenses by a criminal organization and a structured criminal group”, “
Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”, in connection with
the event that occurred on 01.11.2022, in Lushnje, to the detriment of citizen BT, provided
for respectively by articles 152 paragraph 1, 28 point 4, 333/a, paragraph 2,
and 278 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code;

the event that occurred in the period April-May 2024, in Lushnje, to the detriment of citizen GH,
provided for respectively by articles 80, 28 point 4, 333/a paragraph 2 and 334 of the
Criminal Code.
3. Artan (Marjus) Tafani, fatherhood B. and motherhood L., date of birth ****, born and
residing in ****, with education ****, with civil status **** and ****, with
judicial status ****, with Albanian nationality and citizenship.

Lushnje, to the detriment of citizen RG, provided for respectively by articles 80, 28 point
4, 333/a paragraph 2 and 334 of the Criminal Code, as well as the request for a summary trial
of the defendants Kristi Bixheku and Artan (Marjus) Tafani, to a panel composed
of three judges, completely different from this monocratic panel and casting
the case by lot because the court deems that there is sufficient evidence to
support the accusation.
