Just as the Party of Labor and Enver Hoxha did with their opponents, Sali Berisha's media office has retouched the history of the Democratic Party in the clip made on the occasion of its 35th anniversary. The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, explained today the reason why the DP office did not include Lulzim Basha in the clip, who has led this party for 8 years, has signed the visa liberalization as Foreign Minister in the DP government and has been a protagonist in the country's membership in NATO.

Sali Berisha:  If I had made that clip, I would have done it differently. If I had put Basha in it, I would have given him a red cross, because Basha damaged the Albanian opposition. I'm not saying it wouldn't be like that, but it would be like he deserves.
