Dortmund collapses at crucial moments, Schlotterbeck openly speaks out against colleagues

Borussia Dortmund put themselves under pressure in the Champions League with a 2-2 draw against Bodø/Glimt: Due to the lack of chances and a significant drop in intensity in the second half of the match, criticism of BVB is increasing. Until the 75th minute, everything was going well from Dortmund's perspective.
It's true that Valdemar Anton's injury in the first half of the match against Bodø/Glimt was a minor concern. Aron Anselmino's medical staff on the sidelines also caused some concern. However, the 2-1 lead at that point offered a very good position ahead of the final two group matches against Tottenham and Inter Milan.
The extent of the yellow and blacks' frustration was clear in the first reactions: Niko Schloterbeck openly expressed his anger, criticizing the team's technical inaccuracies, lack of goal instinct - and the appearance of the substitutes, without mentioning them by name. "When you come on in the 60th minute, I expect 30 minutes with the maximum possible," said the center-back.
The criticism was mainly directed at Guiras and Karim Adejemi, both involved in the 2-2 equalizer. They came on in the 67th minute for Fabio Silva, who was in fine form, and Maximilian Bayer, who was very energetic. But they made no difference - not even in the final 15 minutes, when Dortmund needed every effort.
Schlotterbeck was the second experienced player in as many days to speak out about the team's problems, after Julian Brandt. "Every player has the right to speak critically after a game like this. Especially when he addresses the problems directly and is strict with himself," said sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
After the interviews, coach Niko Kovac held an internal analysis - and this time it was anything but calm. "The coach put the game in perspective. I think he did very well," Kehl added, and when asked if the 54-year-old's words were strong, he replied: "After the 2-2 draw and the disappointment we all have, it was appropriate." Kehl also criticized Dortmund's performance as "arrogant", and was backed up by midfielder Felix Nmeca, who used the same description in his comments.
