'Gucci'/ The much-wanted Albanian is arrested in Colombia, here's

An Albanian wanted in Colombia is arrested. Towards the end of 2020, Dijin Police investigators received information about Denis Klironomi known by the nickname 'Gucci', a known drug trafficker on the northern coast of Colombia, allegedly from the Republic of Kosovo, who turned out to be one of the most wanted criminals wanted in Europe.

"Gucci", one of the most wanted in Albania and Europe, was wanted by Interpol, said Colonel Olga Salazar, director of the Dijín Police.

A special group of investigators started the pursuit, but every time they got close to the tracks of the criminal, he disappeared because "every month he changed his place of residence. It was like this for about 7 months until we arrived at an apartment in Barranquilla", revealed a Dijin Police investigator.

For a week, the Albanian with the nickname 'Gucci' did not even go to the window, until finally they managed to register him and a tattoo on his left arm allowed him to be identified.

But when he was caught, according to Dijin's investigator, he told the uniforms “that something could happen to the people who used force to extradite him, as a threat. In addition, he spoke to people in Romania and Albania, who were told to pay any amount of money to avoid extradition."

Colonel Salazar explained that 'Gucci' is accused of being a financial partner of the criminal group Los Pachenca, which commits crimes on the northern coast of Colombia. He is wanted for drug trafficking, human trafficking, illegal use and possession of weapons.

The author is being held in a high-security prison in Bogota, while the procedures for his extradition have been completed.
