They lost their lives in Italy as a result of gas, the 4 members of the Kola family will be laid to rest in Peqin

The four members of the Kola family, who tragically lost their lives in Italy as a result of carbon monoxide (gas) poisoning, will be laid to rest in the cemetery of the village of Gryksh i Madh in Peqin.
According to information, the funeral ceremony will take place tomorrow, at 1:00 PM, where family, relatives and fellow villagers will bid them farewell.
The victims are Arti Kola, 48, his wife Jonida Kola, 43, and their two children, Hajdar Kola, 22 , and Jessica Kola, 15. They will be laid to rest in their hometown, where they started their lives and left behind memories, before emigrating to Italy in search of a better life.
The bodies arrived in Albania midweek, after all procedures and toxicological analyses were completed in Italy. Their return to their homeland was made possible by the solidarity of Albanian compatriots, who contributed through a “GoFundMe” campaign opened by Durim Kola, Arti Kola’s brother.
Through donations, the amount of 75 thousand euros was raised, which covered the costs of transporting the bodies to Albania and organizing the funeral ceremony.
