An Albanian has been arrested by Italian police while he was involved in the preparation and trafficking of drugs in the Imperia area.
The arrested man is the young man with the initials IA, and his unemployed status set the anti-drug agents in motion.
According to investigations, he had organized an organized drug trafficking network, including cocaine, crack, and marijuana, with the aim of supplying drug-addicted youth in the capital and neighboring cities.
Arrested near his home shortly after giving a dose of cocaine to a client from Santo Stefano al Mare, a significant amount of the drug was found during a search of his home.
Police seized 54.51 grams of cocaine, 62.9 grams of crack and 15.5 grams of marijuana.
During the search of the apartment, a real laboratory used for the preparation, preservation, weighing and packaging of narcotics was also discovered, complete with chemical solvents necessary for "washing" cocaine and converting it into crack, a particularly potent and dangerous substance for health, Italian media reports.
The police also seized a large amount of money. After the arrest, the Albanian was isolated in custody, awaiting the investigative and judicial process.
