Responded to Serbian provocations/ The Federation of Serbia demands the removal of accreditation for Arlind Sadik, the journalist: I have no regrets

The Football Federation of Serbia (FFS) has asked the media service of the European Football Union (UEFA) to punish and remove the accreditation of the Kosovar journalist because he "provoked the Serbian fans".
Journalist Arlind Sadiku, in a live broadcast before last night's match between England and Serbia, waved the double-headed eagle in front of the Serbian fans.
FFS spokesman Milan Vukovic sent a note of protest to UEFA demanding that the journalist be punished, as well as the media company he represents.
"After the match with England, I followed the reports and came across this. I request an immediate reaction from your side, to respect the rules for the suspension of the accreditation of the "so-called" journalist. He insulted Serbia, Serbian fans, humiliated representatives of UEFA and the media. The only thing that is right is that this man and his media should be severely punished.
I hope for your reply and feedback as soon as possible. You can watch the video of the disgraceful and unprofessional act on the pitch by a journalist, if you can call it that, who is accredited by UEFA.
The provocation at the national level is so clear that I don't have to explain why I am sending this email," wrote Milan Vuković. But the latter seems to have "forgotten" the banner in which the map of Kosovo appears covered with the flag of Serbia, which the Serbian fans had placed in the middle of the stadium.
On the other hand, journalist Arlind Sadiku, in his reaction, says that he does not regret the gesture.
He said that he is proud to be Albanian and that he made the gesture under the influence of the racist chants of the Serbian fans.
"Yes, I was informed because I am constantly receiving messages from colleagues or from ordinary people who are writing to me, but I am healthy and good, thankfully. Let me emphasize that in my position where I was yesterday in the stadium, we were decided by UEFA. The reaction naturally came from the continuous racist calls of the Serbs 'Kosovo is Serbia' and being there two meters away you can't help but be influenced. I never regret it, because I am proud to be Albanian. "Something must happen to stop these racist calls," he said initially.
He called the gesture he made yesterday as "one of the best he has ever made in sports".
"I have no regrets and I will always remember it as one of the best gestures I have ever made in sports. These are the words of the heart that I am telling him. Come and try to be among 20 thousand Serbs and try to feel unprovoked by those calls", said Sadiku.
