After 16 years of silence, the family of Franc Konomi has spoken publicly for the first time in the "See You in Court" column with lawyer Eni Çobani, to seek justice for the inherited properties.

It was July 8, 2010, at 11:20 a.m., in the heart of Tirana near the New Bazaar. Franc Konomi, known as "the strongman of Bardhyl Street", one of the most problematic names in Tirana in the 1990s, was executed with 10 bullets inside his black Mercedes Benz by two assassins on a motorbike.

Today, 16 years later, his son Johnny has come out for the first time, openly declaring the pain he felt when he lost his father and how it has affected his life.

" I am his blood, I am the son of Franz Konomi. When they killed my father, they wanted to kill me twice."

Johnny, who bears his mother's last name and not his father's, has confessed that he suffered greatly from the lack of a father figure and the fact that he never felt the presence of a man in the family.

In the studio, the deceased's wife, Rovena, tearfully publicly accused her brother-in-law, Adi, of appropriating and selling the hotel that Franc Konomi had built for years.

She said that immediately after the murder, the deceased's brother washed and used the car where Franc Konomi died.

Since the execution, Rovena, along with her two children, son Johnny and daughter Franceska, have permanently left Albania and are living in Germany, out of fear of possible revenge.

The Konomi family is seeking legitimate recognition as heirs and the return of the properties that, according to them, rightfully belong to them.
