Albanian caught with 940 thousand euros/ Tried to cross the border from Montenegro to Albania

An Albanian citizen is suspected of laundering money, specifically 940,000 euros, earned through drug sales, and was attempting to smuggle it into Albania via Montenegro.
"An Albanian citizen with the initials T. M is suspected of having transferred 940,000 euros, hidden in a freight vehicle, from Austria to Slovenia, from Slovenia to Croatia and from Croatia to Montenegro, with the intention of handing it over to an unknown person in Albania," the Special Prosecution of Montenegro announced.
The statement said the money was found during a check and search at the Božaj border crossing between Montenegro and Albania and was temporarily seized.
Officials of the Customs Administration and the Special Police Department of the Police Administration took action in cooperation and in implementation of the order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office.
The indictment proposes that the suspect's detention be extended and that the money found and the vehicles he used to commit the crime be confiscated.
