The head of SPAK, Klodjan Braho, and the two heads of the sections for investigating corruption and organized crime, Dorina Bejko and Vladimir Mara, are in the US for a several-day visit.

According to sources, it is known that the special prosecutors have been invited to hold several meetings at various levels in the US with American officials.

This is Braho's first visit to the US since being elected head of SPAK. The fight against organized crime, and in particular cocaine trafficking, is one of the US's priorities.

In this regard, SPAK has made some moves, but the US has greater expectations in the fight against crime from the countries of the Western Balkans region.

This visit comes after previous official contacts and visits by former SPAK head Altin Dumani to the United States, which have served to strengthen cooperation with American partners.
