A long-standing conflict between partners of a company established in 1994 was addressed today, April 14, on the show "Stop" on TV Klan, which led to the discovery of a large, unauthorized construction in the Paskuqan area, in the Municipality of Kamza.
The complaint was made by Dritan Qoqi, who lives in England, against his partner Alfred Gjata, who owns 51% of the company's shares, while 49% belonged to the family of Dritan's father, now deceased.
According to the complaint, Gjata had taken unilateral actions in the administration of the company, holding fictitious meetings and changing the administrator, without the knowledge of the co-owners, who have been living in England for years.
The situation worsened further when, on the shared property of approximately 1400 m², surrounded by a wall in Paskuqan, the construction of a large silo began without a building permit and without the approval of all partners.
Journalists from the show "Stop" verified on the ground that construction was underway, while representatives of the company, including administrator Petrin Dodona and Alfred Gjata himself, did not respond at the first moment of contact.
The "Stop" show notified the Municipality of Kamza, where Deputy Mayor Gentian Bicukaj confirmed that it was an unauthorized construction and committed to intervention on the ground.
During the intervention, delays were noted by the Kamza IMT inspectors and obstacles to their entry into the property, as the works were stopped and the gate was closed by the construction party.
The situation escalated, until the intervention of the State Police was requested, which was engaged after the notification. After the police intervention and verifications on the ground, the arrest of the partner Alfred Gjata was proceeded with and the initiation of administrative procedures by the IMT for the demolition of the silo without a permit, the imposition of a fine and the investigation of the IMT officials and the Kamza Police, for failure to act in a timely manner.
The case remains under investigation for illegal construction and conflict of interest between partners in the joint property.
