Bayern ready to make bid to snatch Gordon from Newcastle

German club Bayern Munich is considering the possibility of transferring English winger Anthony Gordon as one of the main targets for strengthening the offensive department.
According to Sky Sports reports, Gordon is considered the main alternative for the attacking wing, being seen as a direct rival for the approach of Colombian Luis Díaz, who joined the Bavarians last summer in a sensational deal.
Bayern are looking for an attacking player who can bring more quality and competition to the forward line, and the 25-year-old Englishman is seen as the ideal profile for this role.
Currently part of Newcastle United, Gordon has become one of the team's most important players since his transfer from Everton in January 2023 for a fee in excess of €45 million. His good performances have also led him to the England national team.
However, a potential transfer is not expected to be easy. Gordon's contract with Newcastle runs until 2030 and does not include a release clause, making any negotiations difficult. His market value is estimated to be around €60m.
