Tirana weapons warehouse, police provide details: Pistols and automatic rifles discovered, brought from Kosovo

Tirana Police has announced that it has finalized the operation codenamed "Lockdown", after a two-month investigation using proactive methods, conducted by Police Commissariat No. 3 in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Court of First Instance.
As a result of the operation, four people suspected of trafficking and selling firearms, which were allegedly brought from Kosovo and then stored in the Selita area of Tirana, were arrested. The arrested people are:
During the search of the apartments and premises used by the group, police seized:
-8 firearms (5 pistols and 3 automatics)
The investigations allegedly reveal a structure where weapons were modified and stored for later sale in Tirana.
Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, the police are continuing their work to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in this criminal activity. The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further legal action.
