They rented a warehouse and turned it into a drug plantation, 2 Albanians arrested in Spain, 2 others prosecuted

National Police officials announced that they have dismantled a criminal group suspected of cultivating cannabis plantations in the province of Valencia in Spain, seizing more than 400 plants.
Two Albanians have been arrested and two others are under investigation, all as suspected perpetrators of drug trafficking, electricity fraud, identity theft and membership in a criminal organization.
One of the arrested had a criminal record for similar criminal offenses and a deportation order.
The investigation, initiated by the Anti-Drugs and Organized Crime Unit (UDYCO), revealed that the criminal group took surveillance measures to avoid detection by the police, controlling marijuana plantations in an industrial warehouse in the province of Valencia.
After initial investigations, it was located and observed that the suspects entered and stayed inside for short periods of time, increasing visits over time and maintaining a separation of duties.
During the search of the warehouse, two indoor cannabis growing facilities were discovered, containing a total of 404 plants, approximately 150 kilograms of marijuana and nearly 4,000 euros in cash.
It was also discovered that the warehouse had been rented in 2023 using another person's identity.
