Snowfall and a significant drop in temperatures have created a difficult situation in the Dibra region. During the night, the thermometer in some mountainous areas has registered up to -10 degrees Celsius, bringing widespread frost and ice on the roads.

Problems with drinking water supply have been reported in several villages, while the rainfall has blocked the areas of Lura, Kalasë e Dodës, Muhurri, Selishta, as well as several villages in the Trebisht and Ostren units. The thickness of the snow in these areas reaches over 40 centimeters.

Even rural roads have been made difficult by snow and ice.
