New details have emerged from the assassination attempt that occurred this Sunday in Balldren, Lezha, where 39-year-old Kreshnik Mujeci, along with his wife, Gentjana Mujeci, were killed by a hail of bullets.
It is learned that the couple, who were driving towards Torovica in Lezha, in the village of Balldren, were stopped by a vehicle that blocked their path, forcing Kreshnik Mujeci to stop the car.
At this moment, two people armed with Kalashnikovs emerged from another vehicle, which reportedly had no license plates, and fired a volley of bullets at the Mujeci couple, leaving them dead on the spot.
It is also reported that the police have seized security cameras and are working with the footage to create an identikit of the suspected perpetrators.
So far, it is reported that the police's main lead is revenge, as the victim, Kreshnik Mujeci, has been accused of participating in the murder of Genc Mhillaj in 2016.
Earlier, the State Police also reacted to the assassination, emphasizing that intensive work is being done to capture any evidence that will serve the investigation, with the aim of clarifying and legally documenting the case, as well as identifying and capturing the perpetrators.
It was also learned that the couple Kreshnik and Gentjana Mujeci are parents of four minor children.
