A few hours before the Albanian students' protest, Skopje provokes again:

A few hours before the protest of Albanian students in North Macedonia, Skopje has once again provoked the holding of the Jurisprudence exam in the Albanian language.

According to the Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, 'there is no exam in the Albanian language'. Filkov stated that the debate is now closed and that there is no more room for additional comments. " I think that issue is closed. The jurisprudence exam is a professional exam, it is not an administrative process. We have nothing more to comment on ," Filkov said.

He stressed that the current government will not allow, as he put it, political interpretations of laws and the Constitution. “ The time of daily political interpretations is over. The time when the Constitution and laws were interpreted according to daily political needs… has ended with the removal of SDSM and DUI from power. This Government does not intend to continue the practice of legal relativism ,” Filkov declared.

The minister added that the state should function on the basis of the Constitution and not on political interpretations or public pressure. " The Constitution is not a topic for television shows... Everything else is pressure. And this will not pass ," he said.

Minister Filkov's positions have not changed since the beginning.
