Fishta e Lezha has become one of the most special destinations for celebrating Easter, thanks to an activity that combines tradition with entertainment.
This year, the egg-breaking championship has gathered hundreds of visitors from different parts of the country, as well as foreign tourists, creating a festive atmosphere in the heart of nature.
Over 400 competitors took part in the competition, challenging each other to hatch the strongest egg, in a ritual closely related to the symbolism of this holiday. Meanwhile, many other attendees chose to enjoy the atmosphere, traditional food and organization that has now become an annual tradition.
The initiator of this event, Altin Prenga, emphasized that the goal is not only to preserve an ancient custom, but also to promote the area as a tourist destination that offers authentic experiences.
The winner of this edition, Xhuljana Ndoja, said that the competition was full of emotions and an experience to remember, adding that such activities give more life to traditional holidays.
On the other hand, other participants indicated that they had come simply for the festive atmosphere, but the surprise of the victory made the experience even more special.
Organized for several years, the Fishtë egg-breaking championship is attracting more and more interest every year. For this edition, the first place winner was awarded 1,000 euros, while there were other prizes for the following places.
