Fight over debt in Korça, young man injured with knife

A young man was stabbed by another person during a conflict this evening in Korça.

According to preliminary information, it is learned that the injured person received a minor wound to the abdomen from a knife and also suffered injuries from punches.

He is in hospital in a non-life-threatening condition.

The police have managed to identify the perpetrator and are pursuing him.

The cause of the conflict is suspected to be a debt of 100 thousand old lek, which led to the degradation of the situation to the point of using a knife.

The statement of the injured young man is currently being taken, while the police are also searching for the identified perpetrator.
