Police officer shoots in the air after clashing with several people in Golem

An incident was recorded on Wednesday evening in Golem, where a person under "house arrest" security measure violently resisted police services, leading to the intervention of officers and the use of a service weapon in the air to repel them.

According to the police, at around 19:10, the patrol of the Golem Police Station, during a search of the territory, found citizen AB, 38 years old, who was outside the apartment, although he was under security measure for the criminal offense of "Destruction of property by fire". The officers asked him for explanations and informed him that he would be accompanied to the Kavaja Police Station for further action.

At this moment, the 38-year-old and his brother-in-law, A. Sh., 23, helped by other family members, violently resisted the police officers. To neutralize the situation, the area's assistant specialist fired once into the air with his service pistol.

Other police services arrived to assist, escorting the people involved, as well as the citizen who had violated the security measure.
