"Police are strengthening their capabilities"/ US Embassy congratulates 33 specialists: Essential line of defense against crimes that threaten Albania and the United States

The United States Embassy in Tirana has congratulated 33 minor crime specialists of the Albanian State Police for successfully completing the 12th Criminal Investigation Course, an advanced and essential program for strengthening investigative capacities in Albania.
This training was conducted within the framework of the International Criminal Investigation Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) of the US Department of Justice, in cooperation with the Security Academy and the Faculty of Security and Investigation.
"Through this rigorous training, the Albanian police are strengthening their capabilities to serve as an essential line of defense against crimes that threaten Albania and the United States – and to do so with transparency and accountability," the US Embassy statement said.
Congratulations to 33 Albanian State Police Minor Crime Specialists who successfully completed the 12th Criminal Investigation Course, an in-depth program by the United States Department of Justice’s International Criminal Investigation Training Assistance Program (ICITAP), in collaboration with the Security Academy and the Faculty of Security and Investigation. Through this rigorous training, the Albanian police are strengthening their capabilities to serve as a critical line of defense against crimes that threaten Albania and the United States – and to do so with transparency and accountability, in accordance with contemporary and international policing principles.
